Temperatures will trend colder for the middle of next week with lows at or below zero for a couple of nights. Temperatures Monday will quickly rise into the 30s thanks to a breezy southeast wind. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds Sunday, and overall it will be a fairly quiet day. Late night winds will pick up with gusts to 40 mph near the lake shore. Sunday brings us mostly cloudy skies and temps in the mid 30s. A cold front will approach the area by evening with some snow showers developing overnight. A half inch of snow is possible in higher elevations. Clouds will increase and thicken into Monday, and that's when our next weathermaker arrives. For now, it appears that transition zone could set up through or just south of the Fox Cities. Morning breeziness subsides to moderate afternoon winds.

A nice day on Monday with highs in the mid 30s and partly sunny skies. . We should stay dry into the morning with lows bottoming out close to 10. Skies will be overcast, and snow showers should spread into eastern Wisconsin by the late morning or early afternoon. Sunday, we can expect some snow showers, but there is not a lot of moisture to work with so accumulation will be limited. Skies will be sunny at dawn with an increase in cloud cover by late afternoon. Temperatures will dip into the teens for lows.

Highs will top out in the middle 20s with a light west-northwest wind. Our next system moves in for Tuesday with enough mild air for a mix of rain with a few snow showers. Several inches of accumulation expected. Rain is expected during the day Tuesday as high temperatures will be in the mid 40s. The Monday evening drive will likely be impacted with snow covered roads and slippery travel. Keep informed of the latest forecast as this is a rather complex situation, and a small shift in storm track could lead to fairly significant changes in what to expect for certain areas.
