I used grape seed oil, rice malt syrup, plain flour for the cake and vegan spreadable butter for the icing. Everything came out hard and tasting awful. I am going to be honest and say that 99% of the time I have no desire to go Vegan or Vegetarian or Gluten Free, but when I see your recipes, I think I might actually not mind it. Then pour in some melted coconut oil, applesauce and vanilla. I especially thought the molasses added depth to the flavor and the rolled oats provided a nice chewiness to the texture. Completely I asked the question on my! It did take quite a bit longer to make, because of the apples, but it was worth it! I put pecans on the outside just like in the picture. Perhaps due to the subs I made : The pictures of this cake are incredible. Just try my and I guarantee you that they will be a hit! The next day when I served what was left just powdered the top. Usually like that but this time it was too much. I hope all your days are good hair days! Was initially anxious about what pans to use since two round is not really the same as one 8×8.
